Acorns’ new children’s
hospice Worcester welcomed their first children in
March 2005. The hospice provides facilities and support
for Children and their families in Gloucestershire,
Herefordshire and Worcestershire.
 According to Chief Executive Mr Overton, “The
completion of this purpose-built unit on schedule is
a huge tribute to everyone who has worked so hard on
this project and, as a result, we have a magnificent
building and outstanding landscaped gardens of which
the local community can be extremely proud”.
The Greenfingers Appeal has played a key role in financing
the provision of an acre of interactive landscaped
gardens, which are fully planted up and establishing
well.
